Not five minutes after Richard dropped us off at the airport in San Francisco, Virgin Atlantic Airlines lost our luggage as we checked in. Seriously. They lost our luggage. All of our clothing and video equipment...gone. Watch Andy's video above and he'll explain. (So glad we have a travel story to tell in under 10-minutes of traveling.)
Off to London for a 10-hour layover (we'll be in a pub near Hyde Park).
P.S. Sending this from a 6 hour layover in London. We got a room at Heathrow Aiport Hilton for 5 hours. Showering (Ah, lovely...) then off to a pub downtown. More from Botswana, when we get there tomorrow.

What can be said? You know how I adore airplanes and airports. It's all up from here!
My first thought was "Better your luggage lost than mine" but then I remembered you have all the equipment!! OOPS! So glad they found your luggage. Enjoy the pub.

Whats the deal? You couldn't wait till you left the U.S. and got to Africa before you encountered the chaos? Oh yeah...this IS the U.S.!
